DMK Associates Inc.
is a multi-discipline engineering and land surveying firm
with three offices in the heart of the Florida Gulf Coast.
Since its beginnings in the early 1980s through today, DMK
continues to grow its professional, technical and support
staff and remains committed to serving the ever-changing needs
of the Southwest Florida development community.
1982
Divers, McLeod
and Associates Inc. was created through the acquisition
of records and assets belonging to four well-known
surveyors in Sarasota and Charlotte counties.
1983
Divers, McLeod
and Associates expands its services to include
its own civil engineering practice.
1985
The firm changed
its name to Divers, McLeod and Kokomoor and continued
to practice under that name until 1988.
1989
The firm reorganized
and became DMK Group Inc.
1990's
The firm remained
a stable resource for the development community
by maintaining a positive work backlog and providing
superior services to its many private and public
sector clients.
2003
Recognizing the
need for the development of a municipal services
practice, DMK Group acquired an interest in Dorian
Engineering Consultants Inc.
2004
DMK Group and
DEC Inc. merged to form DMK Associates Inc.
2005
DMK Associates
opens Lakewood Ranch office to better serve Manatee,
Desoto and Sarasota counties.
