COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE
DMK has experience as land surveying consultants to commercial clients as well as countless private clients. They recognize the advantages of retaining DMK as their surveyors for projects covering the broad range of scope one would expect from a complete surveying firm.
Over the last 30 years, DMK has completed thousands of boundary surveys, from small areas less than an acre, to properties more than 500 acres in size, like The Meadows and Villas Subdivisions in Rotonda, Charlotte County.
When working in the vicinity of tidal water bodies, our survey crews are often required to locate the mean high water line in accordance with Chapter 177, Part II, Fla. Statutes in order to determine the privately owned uplands from state owned sovereign submerged lands. This survey work involves properties in coastal areas as well as Charlotte Harbor, Myakka River and Peace River.
DMK's Surveying and Mapping Division is recognized as one of the areas most reputable. Having been in business for over 40 years and performing thousands of survey projects in the private and public sector. DMK maintains one of the largest libraries of surveying records in Southwest Florida.

Our hardware data collection instruments are quick, accurate and field proven when used for traversing or collecting field existing conditions data. DMK networked Both survey grade GPS systems are very efficient in establishing horizontal control and establishing ties to state plane coordinate points. Vertical control is established using either a Leica NA-2002 digital level or survey grade Leica NA-2, self compensating levels for closed single wire or three wire level loops. DMK recently acquired a Leica, DNA-03 Digital Level for conducting up first order leveling using three meter calibrated invar rods with supporting struts. This equipment was required for ongoing work in setting Second Order, Second Class survey monumentation to NGS standards.
